For lovers of road bikes, the dense network of secondary and low-traffic roads offers many opportunities and combinations at all levels of difficulty: countryside, hills and protected areas surrounded by nature and the colors of the Valtiberina.

From Piazza Garibaldi you exit the historic center on viale de Cesare towards Fano. Following the hospital, take the road leading to Badiali, then follow the signs for Vallurbana and Selci-Lama. Once in Grumale, at the first junction (after 500 m.) Turn left at a little junction near the sign indicating the restaurant "Torrione".

After 1.2 km you reach Selci-Lama, where near the Selci river you enter the cycle path on a dirt road that without difficulty reaches the confluence with the Tiber outside the built-up area. Following the course of the river for about 10 km, pedaling immersed in the greenery, you return to Città di Castello near the Canoe Club. On the asphalt you point the handlebars towards the historic center.
